Who We Are

We are a not-for-profit Child Care Centre, located in Lion's Head, servicing families on the North Bruce Peninsula.
Our childcare centre is staffed by professionally qualified early childhood educators. We provide a safe, secure, supportive and stimulating environment where children are free to grow to their potential. The curriculum implemented at the BPFC is known as the Emergent Curriculum, which is based on the knowledge and understanding of child development. Early Childhood Educators record observations of a child's interests and activities and use them as the starting point for providing experiences in an environment that supports emerging skills and ongoing development of the whole child. A full scope of activities in all learning domains (social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive) is provided.  To enroll, contact the centre directly at 519-793-4100. Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Weekdays

  • $17.86/full day Toddlers
  • $14.14/half day Toddlers
  • $16.87/full day Preschoolers
  • $14.14/half day Preschoolers
  • $16.09/36.77/full day School Age 
  • $12.00/18.54/before & after school- School Age
  • $10.50/before school- School Age
  • $12.00/13.91F/after school- School Age
  • Other $/day (includes: PA Days, December Break, March Break, Summer)
Includes home made lunch and snacks. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.

Our Centre is incorporated as a not-for-profit and is licensed by the Province of Ontario. We have a Board of Directors to oversee the management of our facility.  

All parents are required to fulfill 10 hours of volunteering per year at fundraiser/events to help keep our child care fees reasonable.

Fundraising is a very important component to life at the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre.  We organize copious amounts of fundraisers in order to keep our childcare fees affordable.

​Child care subsidies are available.

BPFC has enrolled in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) System as of March 2021. With this enrollment, BPFC parents will see a reduction in their parent fees. This reduction will be applied to all children that are 6 years and younger​.
